                                                                                                                                                  Imagination Station Early Learning Center

We are so glad you are considering Imagination Station Early Learning Center for your child! We have been providing an active learning environment for children since April of 1998, and we are owned and operated by Pete and De Cyril. At both centers we provide loving, safe educational care for up to 192 full time children. Both of our sites are side by side, they face opposite streets. Imagination Station Early Learning Center (Site 3726) provides educational care for 92 full time children ranging in age from six weeks to twelve years. Imagination Station Early Learning Center (Site 9215) provides educational care for up to 100 full time children, ranging from three years through twelve years of age. Social skills such as consistent use of manners, resolving conflicts, accepting responsibility, natural cause and effect and playing effectively with others will be encouraged, along with the developmental skills that are appropriate for each child’s age and maturity level at all age levels.  

   We feel it is important to point out that we are a faith-based center and are not affiliated with any specific church. Our center does sing songs such as “Jesus Loves Me,” view videos that teach bible principles from the “Veggie Tales” series, read from a children’s bible on occasion and we also teach a simple grace the children sing before lunch. We try to honor all religions as much as possible.

 WE ENCOURAGE A FAMILY ENVIRONMENT. THIS INCLUDES BREAST FEEDING MOTHERS, VISITING GRANDPARENTS OR JUST POPPING IN ON YOUR LUNCH BREAK, OUR DOOR IS OPEN. INFANT SIGN AND MUSIC ARE A HUGE PART OF OUR PROGRAM.  

 CIRCLE TIME, LEARNING TIME, ART AND  OUTDOOR PLAY. WE START THE PRESCHOOL BASICS IN OUR TODDLER PROGRAM. 

 WE WORK ON EVERYTHING THEY NEED TO KNOW TO SET THEM UP FOR A SUCCESSFUL START ONCE THEY REACH KINDERGARTEN. OUR PHILOSPHY IS THAT WE DON'T HAVE JUST ONE STYLE OF LESSON PLAN, BECAUSE EVERY CHILD LEARNS DIFFERENTLY. WE CONDUCT SEVERAL LESSONS TO ALLOW EACH CHILD TO WORK AT THEIR OWN LEVEL AND PACE TO MAKE SURE THAT THEIR LEARNING EXPERIENCE IS A POSITIVE AND PRODUCTIVE ONE.

 BEFORE AND AFTER CARE, INSERVICE DAYS, SPRING AND WINTER BREAK AND SUMMER VACATION. WE TRY TO KEEP OUR SCHOOL-AGERS AS ENGAGED AS POSSIBLE. FIELD TRIPS, HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE, COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS AND DANCE ARE JUST OF THE FEW THINGS WE OFFER DURING OUR FULL DAY SUMMER PROGRAM.
